Oh, Hey. Hi. Hello There.

My name is Beth, and I am the maker behind Cactus & Clay.

I live with my family in the beautiful PNW. Pottery transitioned from a hobby I dabbled in to an essential part of my life during the COVID pandemic. I was working as a respiratory therapist at our community hospital at the time and felt completely pummeled by the world's weight. My little garage studio became an oasis. It has since become my business, yet it is still the quiet place where I go to reflect and discover.

My work is inspired by nature, function, and the need to challenge myself. I sincerely hope that every piece I create is used and loved in your home. I hope they are on your tables for family dinners and in your hands for all the ups and downs that life throws your way. I hope they become heirlooms that you pass on to your children and your children’s children. I feel honored to be in your lives in this way.

I am committed to running a responsible business. My studio practices are sustainable and eco-friendly. Every order I ship is packaged in 100% recycled and compostable material. At least 10% of my profits are invested in my local community in Kitsap County. Because of your purchases, we have sponsored midwife care to underserved families, supported at-risk youth, and helped provide shelter for unhoused families.

I believe that every little step in the right direction goes a long way in protecting our planet and cultivating a strong community.

Let’s work together to make an impact.

I wish to respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional land of the Suquamish People.
